Agartala, May 07: To empower students in Tripura to express themselves, think critically, and believe in their own potential, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday inaugurated Saharsh Utsav here at Agartala.

Tripura government in collaboration with the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and Labhya Foundation, organized the utsav on Wednesday.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Dr Saha emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence in education and stated that the Saharsh curriculum prepared for students from Class 1 to Class 8 has already gained huge popularity with the aim of successful implementation of national education policy.

SCERT organized this curriculum dedicated to building patriotic, fearless, human values, empathetic, conscious, intellectually capable and socially responsible citizens for the future in a joyful environment, Dr Saha said.
