Agartala, July 16: Tripura Gramin Bank on Thursday marked a significant milestone in its journey of growth and modernization with the foundation stone laying ceremony of its new Head Office at Gurkhabasti in Agartala. The ceremony, held on the auspicious eve of Rath Yatra, symbolised the beginning of a new phase in the bank’s institutional development and commitment to delivering improved banking services across the state.
The foundation stone was laid in the presence of Chairman Satyendra Singh, General Manager Anup Kumar Saha, senior officials, and employees of the bank. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from staff members, reflecting a shared sense of pride and optimism about the bank’s future expansion.
According to bank officials, the proposed headquarters has been designed as a modern administrative hub equipped with improved infrastructure and advanced facilities to enhance operational efficiency. Addressing the gathering, Chairman Satyendra Singh described the project as a landmark initiative in the bank’s evolution.
