In the wake of the recent ADC elections, a senior administrative and police delegation conducted a visit to Mandwi on Thursday to evaluate the prevailing law and order situation and reassure residents about stability and security in the region.

The team was led by District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar and included Superintendent of Police Namit Pathak along with other senior officials from the district administration and police department. The visit was carried out under the directives of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, who has emphasized the need for heightened vigilance and proactive intervention to maintain peace, especially in sensitive areas following the elections.

During their visit, the delegation held detailed review meetings at the Mandwi Block Office and the Mandwi Police Station. Officials assessed the ground situation, reviewed security arrangements, and issued clear instructions for continuous monitoring. They stressed the importance of maintaining a rapid response mechanism to promptly address any signs of unrest or disturbance.

The officials also interacted with local residents, community representatives, and administrative staff to gauge public sentiment and address concerns. They reassured citizens that the administration is fully committed to restoring normalcy and ensuring their safety. According to the officials, the situation in the area is gradually stabilizing, with no major incidents reported in recent hours.

Dr. Vishal Kumar highlighted that the administration has implemented firm and preventive measures to avoid any untoward incidents and rebuild public confidence. He emphasized coordinated efforts between civil and police authorities as key to sustaining peace.

Superintendent of Police Namit Pathak reiterated that the law and order situation remains firmly under control. He urged residents to remain calm, avoid spreading rumors, and cooperate with authorities to help maintain harmony in the region.

The visit underscores the administration’s commitment to ensuring peace and stability in the post-election period.
