Days after the declaration of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) election results, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha chaired a high-level meeting at the BJP state headquarters in Agartala to review the party’s performance and outline future strategies.

The closed-door meeting was attended by key party leaders, including State BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, Ministers Pranajit Singha Roy and Santana Chakma, and General Secretary (Organisation) for Assam and Tripura, Ravindra Raju. Candidates, cluster in-charges, and district-level leaders also participated, offering detailed feedback from their respective areas.

Discussions focused on analyzing the party’s performance across regions, identifying organizational strengths and weaknesses, and formulating plans to strengthen grassroots engagement. Leaders shared insights into both pre- and post-election scenarios, highlighting challenges faced during campaigning as well as the need for improved outreach in tribal areas and remote villages.

Addressing the media after the meeting, Dr. Saha stated that the primary objective was to gather comprehensive ground-level feedback. He acknowledged the difficulties encountered during the elections but noted that the situation was gradually stabilizing. Referring to incidents of violence reportedly linked to Tipra Motha supporters, he assured that law and order was being restored and that the administration was taking necessary steps to ensure peace and normalcy.

The Chief Minister emphasized that winning public trust requires continuous development efforts and sustained engagement with communities. He expressed confidence that by addressing local concerns and strengthening the party’s organizational network, better results could be achieved in future elections.

Party leaders also discussed region-specific issues, including infrastructure gaps and the need for better coordination among workers at all levels. The importance of disciplined organizational functioning and consistent grassroots presence was repeatedly underlined.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to revitalizing the party’s structure, enhancing outreach efforts, and reinforcing BJP’s presence across Tripura through focused and coordinated action.
