In a bid to further strengthen the Bharatiya Janata Party’s grassroots network, Rajya Sabha MP and Tripura Pradesh BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee held an interactive “Chai Pe Charcha” session with party workers of Ward No. 21 under the Banamalipur Mandal. The informal yet focused interaction witnessed enthusiastic participation from dedicated karyakartas and centered on organizational growth, public outreach, and development-driven politics.

During the interaction, Bhattacharjee highlighted the achievements of the BJP’s double-engine government at both the Centre and the state. He said that numerous welfare and development schemes are being effectively implemented across Tripura, ensuring that benefits reach the last mile. Emphasizing inclusive development, he noted that special attention has been given to marginalized and economically weaker sections, reflecting the government’s commitment to social justice, transparency, and good governance.

“The visible pace of development in Tripura is a result of coordinated efforts between the Centre and the state,” Bhattacharjee said, adding that infrastructure development, welfare delivery, and improved public services are transforming lives across the state. He urged party workers to actively communicate these achievements to the public and counter misinformation with facts.

The BJP state president also stressed the importance of grassroots feedback in shaping the party’s future strategies. He encouraged workers to openly share their experiences, challenges, and suggestions, stating that their inputs are crucial for strengthening organizational effectiveness. “Our karyakartas are the backbone of the party. Their insights help us refine our approach and remain connected with the people,” he remarked.

The “Chai Pe Charcha” initiative, known for promoting open and informal dialogue, created a relaxed environment where workers freely exchanged views with the leadership. Several organizational issues, booth-level strengthening, and public engagement strategies were discussed during the session.

Party leaders present at the programme lauded the initiative, noting that such interactions boost morale, reinforce unity, and ensure that the party remains rooted in grassroots concerns while moving forward with renewed energy and focus.
