The Monsoon Session of Parliament 2026 commenced on Monday with Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament from Tripura, Rajib Bhattacharjee, participating in the opening day’s proceedings. His presence marked Tripura’s representation in the Upper House as Parliament began a session expected to deliberate on a wide range of legislative, developmental and governance-related issues.
